The 7:40 Songbook – March 10, 2015

Nothing interesting on the way in to work this morning, unless you can emphasize with driving for 25 minutes and not remembering a thing interesting.  Definite homing pigeon zombie mode on that drive, hope I didn’t run over anything or anyone.

Music time.  Today’s song is another Canadian group that is beginning to get noticed..well..pretty much everywhere.  The band “the Rural Alberta Advantage”.  The song “Runners in the Night”.  Very nicely put together, highlighted by the excellent vocals provided by singer Nils Edenloff.  The band also includes Amy Cole and Paul Banwatt.  Paul handles percussion while Amy provides vocals and pretty much every other instrument.  Based in Toronto, there is an Alberta connection as Nils is originally from there.  The video is a live rendition, so enjoy.
