As I guiltily go through my email, I find material that I wished I’d listened to when I should have, This is one of those occasions. I received an email promoting Marta in March of 2014 and am just now getting to it. My apologies to her and to you, the reader. Marta Pacek is an Australian ex-pat (born in Poland)who now makes her home in Toronto, Canada, with a few stops in NYC. A very roundabout way to becoming an alt-country-folk-swing singer and songwriter. The song, “Nothing Going On” is a great tune, worthy of some attention.
